The Oblation Run: University of Philippines.

You may have already heard of the Famous Oblation run,

which takes place annually at the University of Philippines, in Manila.

On December 16, 2008, 100 men (from the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity)

streaked naked in front of happy spectators.

By the way, this group also includes a Sorority helping the men prepare for the event.

So, they have a "back-stage" pass.

However, this event has begun to gain momentum.

And, there are quite a few locations participating in the event.

The most famous event ever, was the Oblation Centennial Run.

There's also the BSU Oblation, UP Cebu, UP Baggio, University Belt,

UP Mia, UP Pampanga, UP Manila, APO Nueva Ecija, and more. There

seems to be a growing trend, now reaching the Southern Philippines, in

Davao.

If I'm not mistaken, the Kappa Beta Frat is also involved.

And, we've heard of 3 different events.

One taking place in June,

one in mid-December,

then finally, on New Years Eve.
